This is book 5 in the Detective Dove Milson series but they do work perfectly as stand alone.
Dove is coping with bereavement and is returning from a break in Cornwall when they witness 3 people fall from a bridge. Was it a suicide pact, a tragic accident or were they pushed? This case is bound to rub salt in her wounds but she is determined to push on through and find out what happened on that motorway.
It turns into a very complicated case that will test the team to their limits. So many twists and turns and red herrings you are forced to keep reading ‘just one more chapter’. No spoilers but I love the way the author cleverly wove switched identities into the story to add a new dimension to the plot.
An absolutely brilliant read that keeps the reader guessing all the way to the end.
A must read for anyone who loves Crime Fiction. Definitely 5 stars from me.
