Having read book 1: An Aura of Mystery, I was really pleased that I didnt have to wait too long for book 2. I was excited to read more about Ellie and I wasn’t disappointed. This is an absolutely gripping read that had me on the edge of my seat at times. Adrenaline pumping thriller with love and relationships thrown into the mix along with a selection of very unique characters that fit the story perfectly.
Ellie and Michael are still coming to terms with the death of Carol, their very dear friend. Also they find they are beneficiaries to an estate that is beyond their wildest dreams. They decide to honour Carol’s memory in the way she would have wanted and create a medical centre with a difference to enable Ellie to help people with her gift and also bring on board other holistic practitioners to offer services rarely found in other establishments. So the Cavendish-Meyer Centre is a dream come true , or is it?
Then strange things start happening. A staff nurse well know for her caring, compassionate nature is found with an elderly patient who has been stabbed to death by the nurse. A dedicated teacher is found surrounded by the bodies of the schoolboys he was teaching. When a third unrelated murder happens DCI Foreman is desperate and turns to Ellie for help but last time Ellie was put in danger!
Can Ellie use her aura skills to help the Police work out what is going on?
Another absolutely brilliant read that is different in a very good way. The pages keep turning and the intrigue and suspense build all the way to the mind-blowing ending.
The characters that were introduced in book 1 continue to develop their unique personalities and the new characters join seamlessly to make a very entertaining story that flows really well.
Absolutely love this book I am just disappointed that no more are planned because I would love there to be more.
