A detective out of retirement and determined to stay that way. A body found in a derelict cottage with no way to identify her and a development put on hold while the investigation into the murder gets under way. It soon becomes clear that all is not as it seems but sorting the wheat from the chaff is going to take all the detective skills the team have to offer.
Intrigue is introduced at the start and continues all the way through making for an adrenaline pumping read that keeps the pages turning all the way to the end.
