MURDER AT THE CELEBRITY WEDDING
A TROPICAL COZY CRIME MYSTERY FROM BESTSELLING WRITER D. E. WHITE.
Reality TV stars Lara and Eddie are planning the beach wedding of their dreams. When they hire Chloe as horse wrangler, she finds herself plunged into another murder mystery. The bride’s ex-boyfriend appears to be stalking her, and amongst the media circus surrounding the celebrity wedding duo, Chloe’s ex-husband makes an unwelcome appearance on Paradise Island. It’s a whole new game for Chloe, and one which could make or break her riding stables business…
A starry and dangerous game where fame is everything, and secrets are ruthlessly exploited.
Will island life ever be the same again, and as the big day approaches, someone is gearing up for the celebrity wedding splash of the year, and maybe not in the way the bride and groom expect.

My Review
I do love this series. I enjoy reading about the Island and the people. The characters are all unique personalities that fit the story really well.
Chloe was left the Stables when Dre died but she inherited a lot of debt and problems and has struggled to get the business back on track helped in no small part by the stunning Palomino, Goldie who has a lovely nature to match her beauty. So when Chloe’s friend and wedding planner contacted her to hold a very high profile wedding with Goldie playing a starring role it could be the break she was looking for.
But it is a big ask the wedding is very short notice and the bride and groom very high profile on Social Media. They have a massive following of fans but also the haters, trolls and stalkers. People have only just started to arrive when a body is found and that is just the start of a series of very strange happenings that have Chloe and the Police trying to work out what is going on.
A very suspenseful read that kept the adrenaline pumping all the way through. More twists and turns than a roller coaster with secrets and jealousy seemingly around every corner. I certainly didn’t work it out and that is very strange for me.
I absolutely love Ailsa and her chickens they bring humour to the book and I was very relieved that the author used the epilogue to let the readers know what happened to Betsy.
Another absolutely brilliant, 5 star read. I can’t wait for book 3.
