MY REVIEW

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is book 2 in the Morgan Dane series.

A woman disappears leaving her husband and 2 children. Tim asks Sharpe Investigations for help as the Sheriff is too fixated on him.

This book lacked the grit and adrenaline pumping suspense that I like in a thriller but it is still a good read and plenty of intrigue to keep you turning the pages.

I like how Morgan and Lance’s characters develop throughout the book and we learn more about them and what makes them tick.

This is a romantic suspense and does focus quite a lot on the relationship between Morgan and Lance and contains erotica which I, personally, don’t think brought much to the story. There are also parts that didn’t seem to work for me.

Overall a very good read.
